Born in 1957 in Perth Western Australia and exposed to music in my formative years, I became fascinated when in 1969 at age 12 my father brought home a vinyl recording of Wendy Carlos' Switched on Bach. I loved the sounds of Wendy Carlos and developed a deep interest in electronic music, including building a simple synthesiser in my teens (before I could even afford a keyboard to play it). From age 14, I studied classical guitar and have kept this passion as well as studying electronic and software engineering. Now in my 60s I live in Albany on the south coast of Western Australia and create synthesised versions of baroque music - especially that of J. S. Bach.
