Cause Peter is always busy with collabs. He recorded his newes song Liever maar alleen all by himself exept the trumpet and bugel. Don't burn yourself by trying to play instruments that are meant for professionals. So the trumpet and bugel are played by Ronald Kopmels, a valued member of Het Zeeuws orkest.

Peter's second album 'Saeme hae' was released september 2022. This brand new album features lyrics in his native dialect Zeeuws but also in Dutch and English. A fine selection of local artists are playing along with Peter. T
In 2017 singer / guitarist / songwriter Peter Wessel released his first fully Zeeuwse album D’Oagste Tied. The album contains fifteen songs in the dialect of Goes, the city where he lives.
Peter Wessel has been active in pop music since the sixties and he was a guitarist in many bands.
Peter usually gets the inspiration for his work from his immediate environment. Sometimes small fragile songs, sometimes more (folk)rock music.
