PETIRII

From the UK near the centre of Nottingham, PETIRII grew up in a Religious Jamaican home listening to gospel artists such as Bebe and Cece Winans, Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklin and Mary Mary.


At the age of 10 he auditioned to get into a Music school on the outskirts of Nottingham where he would later venture into Classical Music, Chorister Training and general Music Theory.
A few years later, PETIRII started dancing where he was introduced to Hip Hop, R&B, Jazz and Soul. He continued to peruse this passion until eventually becoming a Professional Dancer for the West End, JD Sports and TV appearances on BBC and Sky. As a multi-instrumentalist continuing his journey through education, PETIRII attended Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies where he was introduced to Rock and Country music. This college taught him the skills of Producing, Mixing/Mastering, Live Sound rigging/engineering and DJ’ing whilst tapping into his ability to become a recording artist.


Following a BSc Degree in Audio and Recording Technology, PETIRII began publishing his work online via acapella covers uploaded to SoundCloud. It was in doing this that brought out his skill of being able to record 7-part vocal harmonies with groups like Boys II Men and Take 6 being his inspiration.


Using this eclectic background and implementing it within his original music, PETIRII is definitely an upcoming artist to look out for!
