Petr Šimandl is a folk musician and songwriter from Frankfurt/Main, Germany, with many years of stage experience as a live musician.
He was born in Pilsen in the Czech Republic (Pilsen is the city where the world famous beer brewery for Pilsner beer is located). He has been living in Hesse, Germany, for eighteen years now and has already made a name for himself in the region as a cover musician of good Irish folk music, both as a solo artist, accompanying himself on the guitar, or as the frontman of the group "SIMANDLBand", which he co-founded in 2014. His repertoire naturally includes classics such as "Drunken Sailor" or "Whiskey in the Jar". In September 2021, he released two original compositions "The Winterking" - a contemplative Christian Christmas song, and "Daylong Dance", which can be found on all known platforms, including youtube and spotify.
