Petrus is the personal music project of the Spanish composer and musician Víctor Petrus, originally from the island of Menorca (in the Mediterranean Sea) and currently based in Barcelona. His first record, titled "To the future we belong", was released on November 2011 and contains ten intimate songs through which Petrus explores several musical genres. Local music press has said that it sounds a mix between american and british music, or that Petrus take elements from country music to american folk and british pop.
