Peyton Aston is an enigmatic multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Dallas, Texas. Pitch-shifted fuzz guitar; malfunctioning pump organ; fluid key &amp; time signature changes with memorable melodies are just a few of the disparate sounds you will find in his new album, <a href="spotify:album:2kDbAddGzQtnatuZ81JOo2" data-name="Always Elsewhere">Always Elsewhere</a>.

Aston’s eclectic style freely explores genres like reverb drenched shoegaze, alt-country crooning, kaleidoscopic prog-rock, and more. Lyrically, a song could meditate on everything from Truman Show delusions to attempts at cosmic solace. Whether it’s an anti-work song or a bittersweet love ballad, his confessional observations attempt to make sense of the chaos–or at least find some beauty in it.

Aston also plays drums for the intense live shows of <a href="spotify:artist:7DRqLWnjArR6VeN1leE7kk" data-name="The Alex French Revolution">The Alex French Revolution</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:0tDw1auwRB8MBSMtLCkzsG" data-name="Sorensic">Sorensic</a>. He has also collaborated with Chicago-based composer/producer <a href="spotify:artist:7nJawFIm90c4jAQFLabc1o" data-name="Fire-Toolz">Fire-Toolz</a>, videographer Jonathan Aguirre, and composer/animator <a href="spotify:artist:0B46i6mUcYto1qGMYSurYV" data-name="Max Windsor">Max Windsor</a>.
