Phantom Busker

Phantom Busker is a new Rock/Metal band from Scottish Guitarist, Singer, Composer and Producer David MacGregor.

David started his career in as a Lead Guitarist and songwriter for Scottish Metal act Aorta, as well as a frontman/guitarist for Funky Jazz/Rock outfit Coma-Toast.

From 2008 to until 2020 David’s Career took a different turn, and he began touring and recording as a solo World Jazz Guitarist, playing solo
finger-style Guitar concerts and collaborating with many world renowned Jazz and World Music musicians. He also recorded and released 5 albums in this time. His solo Vinyl album ‘Looking for a place called home’ was included in the UK’s ‘Guitarist magazine's top newcomer albums of 2020.

In 2021 and 2022 David Toured with Folk/Rock band Harmony Glen. Inspired by having the opportunity to play in Arenas such as the
Mercedes-Benz Area in Berlin and, The Olmpiahalle in Munich, David started writing and Recording Rock and Metal Music again and created
Phantom Busker with the intention to build a big sound and show fit to fill Arenas the world over!

Phantom Busker has a unique, fresh yet vintage sound. It was described as Prince meets Pink Floyd and Metallica by one Listener. David is
combining influences from all the different music he has played over the years, aiming for a big, energetic and passionate sound.
On Wednesday the 1st of October 2024, Phantom Busker released their 1st EP 'The Unknown' with Si Hayden on Bass and Ross Tanbini on Drums.
