Phara crafts a raw, contemporary take on techno, rooted in the genre’s Detroit, Berlin, and UK origins while drawing from post-punk, wave, EBM, and electro. His analog-driven productions balance groove and power, earning releases on labels like Fuse Imprint, TOKEN and SK Eleven before founding his own imprint, Phaaar, as a direct outlet for his evolving sound.
Known for his vinyl-only DJ sets which navigate the intersection of fast rhythms, industrial atmospheres and dubbed-out pulses, backed by a collection of stone-cold classics.—Phara channels his club instincts into both decks and studio. In 2022, he debuted a live show only using the Korg EMX-1, merging propulsive rhythms and detuned textures into a stripped yet potent performance. His latest LIVE project, In Glass, introduced in 2024, explores slower, more spacious soundscapes—an immersive evolution of his style. Its first EP arrived in February 2025 on Phaaar embodies this ethos—layered, mesmerizing soundscapes inspired by cold winter days, held together by the familiar tensions and textures that remain integral to Phara’s sound.
