Growing up in the Sydney Inner-West, moving from house to house, nowhere really felt like home. His mother left the family behind when he was 6-years old. Making things harder, his brother technically died for 11 minutes during open-heart surgery, leading to prolonged brain damage. Finding music as an outlet, Phi11a won his first rap battle at age 17. All of this has fuelled and shaped the person he is today. He has dropped tracks with the likes of Trippie Redd, Super-producer Scott Storch. He’s received support from Triple J, No Jumper, DJ Akademiks, Rolling Stone, TRVP, Lyrical Lemonade, and RapTV.
