This Illinois-based duo have released about a dozen recordings and tour constantly. Their work is marked by an intelligent and sensitive reading of traditional songs from all over the celtic, English and American map. Cooper is an assured guitarist (also playing Citern) who uses many alternate tunings to effectively support the songs. Margret Nelson contributes bodhran, doubek and spoons along with her clear and understated vocals.
