Philipp Dinner, known as Phil Dinner, was born in 1980 in Heidelberg, Germany. He began playing the violin and trumpet at the age of six and continued for over twelve years, laying the foundation for his deep musical understanding.
In 1996, he started producing his own tracks, experimenting with various tools until settling on Cubase in 2001, which remains his main DAW to this day. Over the years, his sound has evolved significantly, with a strong focus on high-quality production and emotionally driven arrangements. His passion lies especially in melodic, uplifting trance, which continues to inspire him in every track he creates.
In 2003, his debut single Feel the Light was released on ZYX Music, one of the largest record labels in Germany at the time. Since then, Phil has released over 80 tracks and remixes, many of which entered various radio and dance charts across Europe.
His music has been supported by top-tier DJs such as Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Aly & Fila, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Sean Tyas, Roger Shah, Solarstone, and many more – a testament to his continued relevance and quality in the trance scene.
