Philippe & Gabriel

Philippe & Gabriel is a self-taught singer-songwriter whose style blends symphonic DIY with eclectic influences. During the Covid lockdown, he launched a global collaborative project, recording from his home studio to create a timeless musical universe. His sound evokes a jam session between Michel Berger, Michel Polnareff, Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine, and Neil Young—where Benjamin Biolay and Jacques Brel discuss life over a drink, infused with the emotional depth of Cascadeur, Damien Saez, and Sébastien Tellier.

His signature lies in intricate vocal harmonies and cinematic soundscapes, touching on folk, African rhythms, and electronic elements. He has collaborated with multi-awarded artist Roberto Tola (Les Rivières Folk), Ombré Zion, Agus Vivo, and Ana Milenaria (Naufragés). In 2024, he released his first English single, Solitary Man, produced by Marc Dold (Mawk Phoenix). That same year, Andalusia inspired a rework of La Nuit into La Noche with Gitano Family, embracing a gypsy music style.
