Philip’s deepest inspirations and personal influences include 1990s Pantone color palettes, Sasquatch encounter podcasts, Yes’ Close to the Edge, the individual prisms in cheap kaleidoscopes, and Weird Al’s unreleased Live at Pompei double album. He is also a guitar designer and luthier, with intellectual yearnings that extend into the cosmic origins of sound itself, and like most all male guitarists from the tri-state metro area do in their thirties, Philip is currently experiencing soul connections to Steely Dan.
