Pi+Fire are like confetti attached to an interstellar Molotov cocktail. Wildly talented and ready to destroy whatever preconceptions you may have had for the night. Although taking on many forms and many members over the years, they all fit the formula for embracing the absurd and the music they played held the same tune. -(Excerpt)- "Kvlt Montana" By, Joshua Paulsen
Originally hailing from the frozen and dismal isolation of Montana, where Metal and Punk bands reign supreme. The goal of Pi+Fire is to utilize all genres to convey to the listener that all modes of music can be played with the same intensity as their apex counterparts.
Now based in Portland, Oregon. Pi+Fire takes yet another form and continues to explore the realms of extravagance. Upon the upcoming release of "Under The Roses". The Bands best interpretation of a raucous, punk rock album, served with the undeniable je ne sais quoi to be expected of a band with as many influences.
A lot of the themes Pi+Fire takes on have to do with the mind collapsing on itself, ideas of insanity, psychedelic experiences, and heady explorations of reality and perception. "Under The Roses' Will be no exception on the journey to interpret some form of transcendence. Branded on the forehead, a Pi symbol, to confirm that it's knowledge came from something never ending.
