Combining a post-punk treatment of noise and pop with the additional undertones of electronic pulses, San Francisco's Pie debuted this sound in 1994. Following a number of demos and compilation tracks throughout the next year, Cream Cloud Records eventually released their first seven-inch "Superhorse" in 1995.
