Pierre Welsh is a French singer and songwriter. He created Pierre Welsh & the Oaks in 2014, two albums were released in 2015 - A Modern Tale- and in 2018 - Les Matins Mauves- under the name of Oaks. A new album, L’Insaisissable, was released in March 2022, and well supported by many media such as Rolling Stone. Pierre Welsh claims a wide range of influences, from French singers such as Bashung or Gainsbourg, to poets such as Verlaine, as well as rock artists like Nick Cave. In May 2023, the album Acoustic. was released. In 2024, he worked in a duo with french singer Ella de Loria, and put together a new album, God, Love, Sex & Art, to be released in 2025.
