Pigi Likoudi was born in Athens in 1969.
She began her piano studies at the age of 8 and completed it with honors & the 2nd Prize.
She has apprenticed with great educators and participated in music composition & theatre music composition seminars.
During the period 1999 - 2000 she attended a Masterclass for piano & composition in Salzburg.
In June 2006 she completed her higher theoretical course by obtaining a diploma with honors in composition.
She specializes in child psychology and learning problems in music.
She has been officially teaching since 1989.
Pigi Likoudi’s relationship with Greek poets characterizes most of her work.
The main volume of her compositions refers to setting to music the poems of many well-known Greek and foreign poets as she has worked with at least 31 poets, 6 of whom are still alive.
She has composed four symphonic works, sections & song cycles of contemporary Greek lyricists & has transcribed - adapted a number of traditional Greek songs.
Her works have been presented in concerts in Greece and abroad.
She has collaborated with: Alexandra Gravas, N. Venetsanou, M. Mitsias, D. Basis, R. Antonopoulou, S. Kleissas, El. Peta, M. Tsaireli, G. Aggelou, V. Tagouli, N. Karakalpaki, P. Xenaki, Agni, K.
