Pilha

Between 1998 and 2000, Spyros studied Sound Engineering, laying the foundation for a technical and creative career in audio. He later became the owner of DeFactory Studios in Athens, where he developed his craft further while collaborating with a wide range of artists.
Throughout his career, he led and contributed to several bands — most of which were his own projects — including U.n.s.i.n., Devil Made Me Do It, Poinsetia, and Flybywire. His sound evolved across genres, embracing ambient, post-rock, progressive, and heavier experimental elements.
His debut solo release as PILHA, titled Persistence of Memory, emerges from the most difficult years of his life — a personal and unfiltered reflection captured in carefully constructed soundscapes. Composed, arranged, and produced entirely by himself (with select collaborators), it marks the beginning of a larger artistic journey that extends into visual direction, conceptual storytelling, and AI-assisted animation.
PILHA’s work is emotionally rooted and fiercely independent — a true blend of experience, vulnerability, and forward-thinking creativity.
