Piol is an underground multi instrumentalist and singer living in Italy. Born Giuseppe Piol in Crespano del Grappa in 1972, Piol plays guitar, bass, piano, drums and sings.
After a 6 years experience in the alternative rock band “Please”, in 2000 he released his first demo cd “Scappare in verticale” which received little attention. After 2003 he began playing in cover bands and djing. In 2005 Piol dropped songwriting to become a full-time father, but 2012’s remix of Alcazar’s “Crying at the discotheque” - entirely made in his home studio - gained some interest and from that point on he made several productions for other artists, including 3 full albums for Italian singer songwriter Ivano Tolio. In 2014 the album “I am the night” was released. After yet another 6 years hiatus, 2020/21 Piol began to write songs again, releasing 3 singles. In 2022 the song “1982” written with Saturnino Celani, was released in July.
