Pipe Dream is an international band featuring american cellist Hank Roberts and four of the most intere- sting personalities in the new italian creative scene: Pasquale Mirra, Zeno De Rossi, Giorgio Pacorig e Filippo Vignato.
The five musicians stretch among chamber music, african echoes, new music and american folk-rock, sha- ped in their own unique sound as a band.
Established as a live band gifted with impressive impact and magical alchemy since their debut on stage in autumn 2017, Pipe Dream performed in the most important Italian festivals including NovaraJazz, Cormons Jazz & Wine Of Peace, Crossroads, Musicus Concentus, Fano Jazz, Teatro La Fenice and recently at International Münster Jazzfestival in Germany.
The band found further confirmation in the publication of the eponymous album ‘Pipe Dream‘ (CamJazz 2018) acclaimed by Italian and international critics and reported as one of the best releases of the year (RaiRadio3, AllAboutJazz and the Giornale della Musica) and ranked #2 on the ‘Album of the Year‘ at the Top Jazz 2018 Critics Pool of historical Italian jazz magazine ‘Musica Jazz’.
