PIT!: Yellowknife's premier man-child boy-band, PIT! is the genre bending rock-ensemble who have oft been described as "sensory candy."
The concept EP is an exploration of modern love and relationships. The EP dares to asks the question, “What might the world look like if everyone is free to love the way they want and consent reigns supreme?” Drawing on the sounds of R&B and Soul music over the last several decades, Modern Mating Calls aims to make people both groove and think. Subsequently, the EP tagline enquires, “The future of love is calling… Will you pick up?”
The EP was recorded in Toronto, ON at Baldwin Street Sound and St. Clarens Sound. Production, engineering, and mixing was done by Patric McGroaty, who has also worked with the likes of Lemon Bucket Orchestra, The Elwins, & Blue Rodeo. The EP was mastered by Guillermo Subauste, who has worked with The Sadies, Sarah Harmer, & Rueben & The Dark.
