Pixel Pirates is the Swedish electronic duo forging high-energy dance versions of classic video game music. With a shared passion for chiptune nostalgia, these two veterans take beloved 8-bit melodies and infuse them with an irresistible, modern club beat.
Though they’ve been producing music together and separately for over 20 years, Pixel Pirates began after a breakthrough cover of Cave Story's main theme in 2013 (originally released under the name Pixelhunters). Despite their extensive production history, the studio is their fortress: the duo focuses exclusively on creation and will never perform live.
