Hi! My name is Matilde Ferrari, I was born in Verona in 1996 and PLASTICA is my music project. I’m a musician, producer and DJ based in Milan, Italy. I started to play classical piano at the age of 7 y.o., then keyboards, synthesizers and bass guitar. I've played since 2011 in different music projects as keyboardist and played many concerts in Italy. Now I produce and release my own music, but I'm also a producer and musician for other artists and I deal with sync sound design for brands like Kappa, Swarovsky and Vogue. In 2019 i was chosen as finalist at the Jäger Music Lab 2019 in Berlin, one of the most relevant electronic music contest and showcase. I have recently collaborated with artists such as Inoki Ness, Arashi and Marianne Mirage. At the moment I am resident DJ for Linoleum at Rocket Club in Milan, one of the most important national music scene’s meeting points. I have also studied design at university and I do like all those things dealing with art, graphics, drawing and photography.
