We're two mates from Perth, Australia who have been playing and writing music together since 2015. Our style is a reflection of our shared influences such as Karnivool, The Butterfly Effect, Cog, Tool, Audioslave, Elder, sleepmakeswaves, among others.
We started out jamming in the warehouse during lunch breaks at work, exchanging riffs without any idea of a direction. Before we knew it, we were forming songs and decided to start recording. 'Green is not a Creative Colour' was our first song writing attempt, coming together at the beginning of 2016. Since then our song writing has developed and matured, with our tastes expanding over the years, leading to a diverse group of songs that make up our first album.
Plasticpinocchio is made up of Nick Cook on guitar and vocals, and Shane White on bass and spoken word. Our music is written, recorded and produced at home.
