Played the Fool

Played The Fool aka Glenn Audy is an Indie/Alternative Artist based in Manitoba, Canada. Audy is essentially a solo artist that writes, produces and record all music by Played The Fool.

Growing up on an Indian reservation, too white for the reserve up until going to a school off reserve. He then became too brown for the town. There was almost no place to fit in for the little brown boy from Wuskwi Siphik First Nation. Music was the only escape away from all of the ghetto perks that come with being an on reserve member.

Growing up in a few small towns there was nobody to make music with consistently. Waiting for the perfect group of people to form a band was beginning to be a waste of time. Rather than waiting around it was time to manifest destiny.

After hearing Cage The Elephants "Tokyo Smoke" Glenn Audy chose the Moniker Played The Fool

Played The Fool released the debut EP "Healthy Boundaries" which is a splash of genre's ranging from Reggae/Trap/Alternative. The album revolves around topics of drug abuse and putting boundaries on relationships. The album cover has to do with distancing yourself from your inner demons.

"Playboy" which was released on October 29th 2021. Is the lead single from his first full length album "Ride Inside Your Head"
