Plextro

After countless productions spanning several different genres over 10 years, 25-year-old Norwegian music producer Plextro is ready to cook up some funk and disco-inspired pop music. Plextro started producing back in 2011, and the name Plextro derives from the sub-genre &#39;complextro&#39; which was his primary genre when producing EDM. In 2020 he rebranded himself to start producing funky pop music under the same pseudonym. Inspired by acts such as <a href="spotify:artist:3rxIQc9kWT6Ueg4BhnOwRK" data-name="Quincy Jones">Quincy Jones</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3yDIp0kaq9EFKe07X1X2rz" data-name="Nile Rodgers">Nile Rodgers</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2mV8aJphiSHYJf43DxL7Gt" data-name="Chromeo">Chromeo</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6VuMaDnrHyPL1p4EHjYLi7" data-name="Charlie Puth">Charlie Puth</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:7CajNmpbOovFoOoasH2HaY" data-name="Calvin Harris">Calvin Harris</a> to name a few, Plextro has developed his own style of funky pop music where the goal is to have a modern production blended with the styles of 70s disco, topped with catchy vocal melodies from pop music. On the 1st of September in 2020 he released his first single named <a href="spotify:album:7IAIAaSZ3rbI6pAYx0ctz9" data-name="Cherry Picker">Cherry Picker</a> featuring vocals from <a href="spotify:artist:6bdhzwodc1P9mTwwGyJM7u" data-name="Montel Moore">Montel Moore</a> which went on to gather 20 000 streams in the first month of the release, due to a TikTok video posted on his own account gaining traction in the Nordic countries with over 170 000 views. His second single &#34;<a href="spotify:album:59h9z9TOgCdmHDq1SnuUG2" data-name="Vibe">Vibe</a>&#34; released on the 4th of December in 2020, featuring vocals from American rapper <a href="spotify:artist:2AGjBgKP6DhIzdH8wdWEAE" data-name="Chrisjenkins">Chrisjenkins</a> and Singaporean singer <a href="spotify:artist:3Rg4OQYmAMECf2x1KUeHnd" data-name="Sasha M">Sasha M</a>. His newest single &#34;In Harmony&#34; is set to release on the 28th of January, 2022.
