Plou

pLou is a trio from Barcelona created by Ramon Vives in 2009 with bassist Guille Fabra and drummer Xavier Martí. The group is the natural continuation of the band Clementines, considered in 2005 by the press as 'the best kept secret of Barcelona'.

pLou's smooth and pleasant music has been used in TV commercials in France and in some Spanish TV series. The band has played at small venues of different cities in Spain and also in Paris and Berlin. As the Rockdelux magazine says, their songs are 'a collection of rock and power pop songs with a taste for well-drawn melodies and guitar arpeggios that the less-shy listener can follow singing'. MondoSonoro magazine, in its may 2017 edition wrote 'There are musicians who have nothing to say and others like Plou who should never be silent'.

Ramon and Guille play also in a successful cover band for parties and if you are lucky enough they’ll confess you how and why they both played as fake-musicians on stage with Ricky Martin in Barcelona in 2006. Say hi: weareplou@gmail.com
