Plumero is an all girls rock band based in Des Moines, Iowa. Since they formed when they were in middle school, they have performed original songs and covers at more than 20 venues, festivals and events throughout the Des Moines area. Over the four plus years they have been a band and through countless practices, Plumero has honed their skills into a debut EP called “Prune Juice,” consisting of 6 original songs and released in May, 2022. Their album release party will be held on May 27th at xBk Live in Des Moines. Plumero consists of Mia Prosperi (vocalist and guitarist), Ada Fender (vocalist and keyboardist), Leah Stringer (bassist, vocalist, violinist) and Charlotte Byers (drummer). They all attended Roosevelt High School in Des Moines, and met through the Girls Rock! Des Moines summer program. Not only are they bandmates, they are also great friends.
