Giorgio Costantini, Antonella Bianchi (Belen Thomas), Marina Bianchi and Renzo Zulian form the Italian project Plustwo. Born in 1983, Plustwo emerged at the dawn of the Italo-disco scene with the single “Melody/Stop Fantasy”, which later became a cult favorite among collectors and DJs.
In 2014 the group re-recorded “Melody” using the same vintage setup and original arrangements. The track went viral on TikTok in November 2020, reaching #1 on Spotify’s Viral Chart in the UK and #3 in the USA, and entering the Viral Top 50 in several other countries.
Defined by an authentically ’80s sound — Linn Machine, Bass-Line 303 and classic synthesizers — Plustwo blends its original analog aesthetic with a contemporary touch, keeping the Italo-disco legacy alive.
