Pluto Rocket

Picture this: you're in Hamilton, Ontario. The streets are paved with tears and the air is chilled. Pluto Rocket is the music you would hear in that situation. A veritable soundtrack to the steel city, Pluto Rocket have been pumping out indie style riffs from the bridge pickup since 2024.

Spawning from the ashes of Iceberg, the two young men behind "I Drive Car" wanted a new start. They pulled themselves out of the rubble, found the best drummer this side of the 49th parallel, Liam, and got to work.

Their first show was possibly the worst Green Day cover in history at the school talent show, a sort of hazing. Afterwards, the two young men played a covers set with Trüaxe Sly Fox and Sam Hansell from Superstar Crush while Liam the drummer was on vacation. They loved Sam so much they invited him to help with songwriting and recruited him as a second guitarist for their live shows that summer.

The first of these shows was July 9th at the Casbah, and, well, hear it for yourself.
