At its core, Plutoniates is a group friends who've been playing music together for nearly two decades. They describe their sound as rooted in the 90s-00s alternative-indie movement but influenced by almost everything else. They've enjoyed playing throughout their home state of Wisconsin since 2007, sharing the stage with other local notables like Ethan Keller, Geri X, Cedarwell, the Vega Star, the Championship, the Belle Weather, and the Pink Lipsticks, among many others. They once basically opened for The Vines, and Keller Williams was once mistakenly listed on a bill they were on.
They have 3 records as of this writing: the EP (2017) and the LP (2011, reissued in 2016) you can find here. There is also an EP from 2008 with early recordings of a few tracks that they are hoping to upload here sometime in 2025.
