"When you think about the budding rap scene in Little Rock, Arkansas, PME JayBee is a name that seemingly always comes to mind. “PME” JayBee (which refers to ‘Product of my Environment’), is no stranger to making something out of nothing in the city that raised him. He credits his life in the streets for his sharp lyricism and inspiration on early cuts like World Star Hip Hop’s Heat Seeking feature track “Bean”, which has racked up over 210K+ views since its release in 2021. Other songs like “ABC”, “Drop Top” and “Keyshia Kole” from his 2022 mixtape release appropriately titled “Tales of Little Rock”, have amassed hundreds of thousands of streams over the last year alone.
With his ambitions high, JayBee is gearing up to release his sophomore mixtape, “Get Rich or Die Slimin’” via Artist Partner Group later this year. The first single “Let My Dogs Out” is an intimate and introspective look into his family and friends being wrapped up in an unjustly political system. The focus track, “How it all Started” features another Arkansas name and 1017 Recording artist, BiC Fizzle who blesses the second verse with tales of what would happen if anyone dared to cross his path.
