POEMS FOR JAMIRO combine electronic music with poetry, musical force with delicate vocals, art with intimacy. Anthemic melodies, atmospheric synthesizer sounds and two voices, intertwined and completing each other: that’s the German Indie Pop duo’s musical outline.
Since starting the band in 2014, they have played numerous shows around Northern Europe, performed at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and opened for various acts such as Kat Frankie, The Gardener and The Tree and Lina Maly.
With their intricate harmonies and overwhelming joy in experimenting with sounds, POEMS FOR JAMIRO constantly search for intimate moments and stories. They are inspired by their own and other people’s experiences, portraying society as it presents itself in various facets.
Their new single CHANGE tells the story of the longing for change in a time of stagnation and standstill.
