Miles Senzaki (a.k.a. Point Lobo) is a producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist known for his wide-ranging collaborations, hypnotic animations, and kaleidoscopic lofi aesthetic. In addition to his own releases as an artist and animator, he has worked closely with Beastie Boys' keyboardist <a href="spotify:artist:6I2891HPq8zEnBEuwc5iAP" data-name="Money Mark">Money Mark</a>, Japanese superstars <a href="spotify:artist:4OfU76YhPU04wlmbVFFgTJ" data-name="ATARASHII GAKKO!">ATARASHII GAKKO!</a>, and hip-hop legends <a href="spotify:artist:7yk35uHNQclPXFGFoTU44w" data-name="The Pharcyde">The Pharcyde</a>.
Senzaki began his journey as a professional drummer, studying under jazz luminaries <a href="spotify:artist:6FmHMrX0jETx6WNGzyZKRs" data-name="Billy Higgins">Billy Higgins</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:1sdyFmN4bVOcuFDpTVsxBB" data-name="Kenny Burrell">Kenny Burrell</a>. After moving to LA from SF, he found himself drumming for local funky-soul favorites <a href="spotify:artist:0Jq39W2ruHAA8hGsheXIYG" data-name="Breakestra">Breakestra</a> and touring with hip-hop icons The Pharcyde, all the while honing his craft as a recording engineer.
As Point Lobo, he quickly became a go-to composer for creators on Comedy Central, Hulu, YouTube, feature films and podcasts (including 'The End of the World' with Josh Clark, of Stuff You Should Know). Teaching himself animation, he directed a music video for <a href="spotify:artist:7pXu47GoqSYRajmBCjxdD6" data-name="Vulfpeck">Vulfpeck</a>, as well as scoring 'Infinite Journeys', a massive compilation of leading 3D-Art animators (produced by Clinton Jones of Corridor Crew).
Currently Point Lobo is working on a new album and touring as the drummer for lofi-pop ensemble <a href="spotify:artist:6qOWi2uVjil54PGcEfdKVZ" data-name="veronicavon">veronicavon</a>; he's also a mix engineer on <a href="spotify:artist:3vB7T6czx1Jh89YEnzM0UF" data-name="Bernie Worrell">Bernie Worrell</a>'s posthumous LP, as well as comedian <a href="spotify:artist:25XSZ0xFRu0lFRL3eqBPkc" data-name="Josh Johnson">Josh Johnson</a>’s (The Daily Show) upcoming album. Most recently, he was a guitarist, percussionist, and recording engineer on Atarashii Gakko’s new single Forever Sisters.
