Point Mort is a Chaotic Popcore / Postcore band that, since 2017, has never stopped mixing labels and going beyond the boundaries of its genre.
It's a mixture that may come as a surprise; a technical, even complex songwriting style that its musicians nevertheless know how to deliver in all simplicity, accompanied by a singer who skilfully juggles pop, rock, electro and rap, without ever losing sight of their hardcore fury.
A daredevil, the band favors sincerity, laying bare their emotions, vulnerabilities and rough edges. A sometimes trying exercise, with tracks often very long in length
Devastating on stage, as they have proved in France, Europe, as far afield as Cuba, and especially during their appearance at Hellfest in 2022, the band know how to turn the pit upside down and make their audience cry in the same concert.
Their 2nd album and 4th record, “Le Point de non-retour”, will be released on April 25, 2025.
