Michael King aka Poka Bantana was Born January 16, 1994 in Deridder Louisiana but grew up in a small town call Many Louisiana. Music wasn’t always a thing he’d wanted to do coming up but his brother Zacquiri would have instrumentals playing when writing rimes so young poka was familiar with the rap industry vybe. Having no father figure to look up to he ran behind his two older brother who would show him the way. Single mothers raising four boy poka said he remember his mother didn’t have a car so he And is brother would walk her to work which was miles across town just so bills could get paid around the house. In 2004 when poka moved to Deridder due to his mother spitting with her husband they lived with his aunt and that is when young poka was introduced to Fl-Studio and Live studio which was use to record vocals. He would make simple beats time to time but didn’t know much about the studio life. His older cousin Lyriq Who would write his music for him influenced him to learn more about the music industry. Poka was determined to become a big rap/producer one day. In 2007 poka and his family where evicted from there home and had no option but to Moved to a small town called Anahuac Texas, where they lived with there elderly uncle until they could get on there feet again.
