P.O.K.R

A visionary music producer, composer, and sound designer. An accomplished pianist, Kevin “P.O.K.R” Richardson, affectionately known as “Kevin”, was able to perform at several concert halls in NYC at the age of 12.
As Kevin grew older, he learned to play the clarinet and gained interest in producing music electronically with programs such as Pro Tools, Reason, and FL Studio by the age of 15. His classical piano training allows him to mind song structure, harmony, and musical arrangements when creating music.

Kevin’s musical influences are vast and carry across every genre of music. “I can find 20+ songs in any genre that I will love. Music is about energy, rhythm, and storytelling. I am inspired by it all.”

His musical influences include Curtis Mayfield, Mozart, Billy Joel, and Hall & Oates. “Growing up I was exposed to music from the 50’s-80’s, this is what my Dad always listened to while working on his model railroad layout. Each day I would wire something with him or help place a train track down while we enjoyed these artists sing.”

As of 2023, Kevin has his focus set, on continuing to work on Film/Tv shows (Currently having worked on ROKU: The Next Black Millionaire Aired: on July 7th ), and produced for powerhouse Nepali artist Indira Joshi. Her new single called " Maya Garchhu ".
He is currently working on 3 artist albums, sound design for a video game, and several other TV projects.
