Polarfunk is a music teacher, multi-instrumentalist, DJ and producer from Oldenburg, Germany. After getting a classical music education in his teenage years, he got into electronic music after exploring artists like Dominik Eulberg, Flume and Ben Böhmer. Having played piano since he was a child, he expanded his skills as a musician through learning how to create electronic sounds and started his career in 2021 by releasing “Nacht & Nebel” on Ben Böhmer's label Ton Töpferei. He got deeper into the scene by doing a remix for Diode Eins, playing small but intense deephouse gigs in his hometown and releasing some tracks on Pretty Pink’s Deep Woods. He currently works on deep and melodic house music – inspired by the sounds of his current label Traum Schallplatten (Dominik Eulberg, Extrawelt, Max Cooper).
