Pole Electric is a rock duo with Matt MQ on vocals and drums, and Jules on guitars. Both Matt & Jules co-write the music together. Matt & Jules first met during high school at Oakhill College in Sydney Australia, and co-incidentally didn't strike musical cohesion until they played in Sydney band called "The Presence" from 2010-2013. In 2014 Matt suffered an aviation accident that changed his life forever. Matt lost his left leg and had his right foot fused with no movement. Sadly Doctors predicted that Matt would never be able to play drums again. After Jules visited Matt in hospital, they discussed jamming again someday, but both didn't realise how profound their first jam in 2018 would become. By then Matt had built a new studio and invited Jules for a jam. From that moment, Pole Electric was formed. From their first song "Gift From Hell" both Jules and Matt knew that there was chemistry and a spark that comes from experience playing live, and their experience within the recording studio environment that led them to their first album "Luminescence". Jules and Matt kept writing new songs which are constantly evolving and shifting, all while keeping the mantra simple. Pole Electric is the celebration of the classic rock music they grew up with performed with 'vigor and expression' that isn't often heard and felt in this modern age.
