Pollen Jesus

Pollen Jesus is an acoustic rock/folk style of music from Ontario, Canada. Most known for a Gordon Lightfoot sound with a rock edge.

Pollen Jesus was Created in 2001 by Paul A. Thompson. Meeting David Joyce in 2016 was the catalyst to get PJ material recorded. That journey began February 25th 2017. David established Treblecock studio in June of 2019 in Peterborough. Treblecock studio is where all the music is recorded and produced.

Pollen Jesus' name sounds like Paul and Jesus or Paul in Jesus. Music is primarily acoustic with a rock drive. Lyrics are heart felt and framed with Christian themes and Canadian imagery. Each song, a chapter in a larger story inspired by life.

Pollen Jesus graciously accepted an award for album of year 2023 for his debut; presented at Petrock Radio's TNM Awards, May 2023.
In 2024 Pollen Jesus received the TNM Awards for Folk Song of year for Haunted (#2 on Pet Rock Radio's top 100 hits of 2023), as well as the Corey Merritt Award for 2024-prevously the Folk Artist of year Award. This Award was won by Corey Merritt the previous year and now named in his memory.
