Pollon is a six-piece act featuring double fronted lead vocal, sung by cousins Mollie Clack and Lauren Hughes. Formed in the autumn of 2017 the band are described as 80’s influenced, guitar driven Alt-Pop/Rock.
Since forming Pollon have continued to develop their vibrant sound whilst spending lots of time in the studio and playing several live shows – including playing at The Haunt in Brighton in February 2019. The show received a glowing review from Brighton’s Finest:
"...the band create a dizzying mix of rock and roll sounds that reach everything from theatrical Queen-esque vocals all the way to euphoric 80s post-punk. A unique band, with character and charisma in abundance, it was an impressive set from an exciting band." -Liam Mcmillen
In December of 2018 the band recorded their debut singles at Echo Zoo in Eastbourne. Both singles have been mastered at Abbey Road, and the first of which - Strong - was released 1/3/19.
