Polyatomic is the brain child of Iain Bennett, a composer and producer based in Toronto, Canada.
Ultimately the project is about releasing creativity, having fun, and writing music for the enjoyment of sharing new music. If people happen to like the music, great – spread the word!
After two years since releasing Techknow, it’s time for the release of Strength - the first full length and follow up to 2020’s Icebergs. Strength was inspired by video games as a euphemism for life. As the follow up to Icebergs, Strength follows some of the more personal cathartic moments the past 5 years have brought.
Solarium, was released in 2014 and explored Iain's back catalogue and added a few new tracks.
With ターミナル (Terminal) released in 2016 Iain explored two years of heavy travel around the world mostly centred on the Pacific North West and Asia.
2020 brought the release of Icebergs inspired by 4 years between visiting Newfoundland, life in Toronto, the United Kingdom and Europe.
After taking a break, 2023 saw the release of the Techknow EP which pays homage to the Berlin techno and music scene.
