Pommelo is an alternative band from Mandaluyong City formed in 2016
Pommelo is a wordplay inspired by the word "pommel," which means the knob on the end of a sword, and the letter "O" from a local juice. The band started as an Eraserheads cover band until they found their sound and created their original compositions.
In 2019 the band recorded their garage demo album titled " Demo Nyo" with limited copies only for their supporters. The demo album includes the band's first single "Lakbay" which has gained huge following, Jini, She Devil, Negativity, 12:27 and I Want You.
