LA native Pontea is a multilingual, multi-instrumental singer-songwriter whose music bridges ancient traditions with modern expression. The daughter of Iranian Jewish immigrants, she weaves her rich heritage into a sound that blends ancestral roots with diverse global influences.

Having transitioned from her earlier pop-driven sound, Pontea now invites listeners into a spirit realm, offering introspection & deep presence with soul-stirring depth. Her voice carries from ethereal highs to earthy lows, akin to being cradled by the earth itself, as she channels truth & vulnerability with touches of playfulness.

Her latest EP, Channeled, is a collection of one-take improvised musical transmissions capturing the essence of sacred ceremony. Recorded in real-time studio sessions at Meraki Cocoon, this EP features three lyrical songs & three instrumental interludes. Each track is a singular, unfiltered snapshot, a sonic portal into healing and presence. With trance-like melodies, meditative rhythms/instruments, and a song honoring her Persian roots, Channeled embodies a worldly fusion of sound.
