Poolshake

Poolshake started in the summer of 2013 when the vocalist/composer Riv and guitarist/lyricist Adrian decided to form a band. As soon as they started the band, they began to work on their own songs: pop songs with dreamy guitars and catchy melodies, under the influence of synth pop bands like <a href="spotify:artist:2XddLUPFBmTonCFy8uB3uc" data-name="Swim Deep">Swim Deep</a> and artists like <a href="spotify:artist:3WGpXCj9YhhfX11TToZcXP" data-name="Troye Sivan">Troye Sivan</a> or <a href="spotify:artist:3fMbdgg4jU18AjLCKBhRSm" data-name="Michael Jackson">Michael Jackson</a>. On the other hand, their lyrics are characterized by exploring themes like purity, incomprehension or modernity and it’s consequences.
In 2017, their debut single, “<a href="spotify:album:3RE1xfOL1iYbvaPzQd2ns3" data-name="Golden Smoothie">Golden Smoothie</a>” was released and caught the attention of festivals like Primavera Club, Low Festival or WARM UP. This single was followed by two more songs, “<a href="spotify:album:6qyE4Stl02xMWNrvWyQMiH" data-name="Seventies Sugar Dream">Seventies Sugar Dream</a>” (2017) and “<a href="spotify:album:3yDaT94dgpKnfQE06BJ0hM" data-name="Pale Trees">Pale Trees</a>” (2018), and finally, in 2019, their first EP “<a href="spotify:album:0aAK8yomnqViyXNB2qnyPB" data-name="Some Things Last Forever">Some Things Last Forever</a>” came out.


The band has just released their new single <a href="spotify:album:75bDbPBePb3wB6U12BojwD" data-name="Hell In My Mind">Hell In My Mind</a>, which is the A-side of the digital single <a href="spotify:album:6Ul0jdnFmejKlpYSX9E0zG" data-name="Weak Heart, Hard Skin">Weak Heart, Hard Skin</a>.
