Poor Devils Only

We do not write these songs; the songs write us. We are merely the medium through which a narrative, a sensation, a memory, or an expectation takes an artistic and sonic form. The purest form of creation appears seemingly from no-where, while the hardest part of creation is laboring it to its full potential. Fortunately, for the two of us, this latter part is also an immensely joyful process, partially because we enjoy each other's company, respect each other’s skills and vision, and trust the other artistic opinion. Poor Devils Only was founded from the remains of Six Minutes on the collaborative principle of providing everything that we have to a song, and if it’s a technical skill that we lack, then we ask a friend for help. But the song takes precedence. We both strive to make the song we love the best song we can. One at a time.
