Pooven Roman

I am an independent pop/alternative-pop singer-songwriter and producer from Malaysia. Drawing inspiration from Lady Gaga, Frank Ocean, and Yuna, I infuse my music with passionate delivery, deeply rooted in my personal experiences. Crafting captivating stories based on my own life, I approach my music from a very honest and personal perspective. My debut single, "Tell Me What Should I do," garnered 35K streams and was featured in Spotify's New Music Friday playlist. I was also highlighted in the Sun Daily newspaper, thanks to my experimental first EP "HIM," which received 63K streams.

To truly discover my musical roots, I moved on to release singles, allowing me to find my voice and style. Currently, I am working on my debut album heavily influenced by various bands and artists like The 1975 and Yuna. I've teased my audience with a new song from my album, "Castaway," and also shot my first music video, now available on YouTube.
