Pop Drunk Punk is a 5-piece pop punk band in Malolos, Bulacan. formed in August 2024, and the lineup is Yrhone Marquez on vocals, Alvin Soriano on lead guitar, Edcel Puaso on rhythm guitar, Mj Del Rosario on drums, and the former bassist Miguel Soriano, who later became Eron Capule.
Before the Pop Drunk Punk started, Alvin and Eron were bandmates in high school, so they had chemistry in music even before. The connection of the two members is very useful because they use it for the music that they made today.
The band has started a cover band of Ang Dating Don Juan, 123 Pikit! Forgetting 69 helped them as inspiration for their sound, so eventually they created their own euphonic sound.
On May 5, the band released their first debut single called Akala. — Currently, the band is working on their first EP album called Liham.
