Dutch dance pop act centered around Ype Driessen, with singers Kenne Peters and Donny Keizer and producer Wouter Berkhout (Zenn). Popdorian first formed in 2010 in Utrecht and enjoyed a connoisseur club hit with their single You break it, you own it. They did several club performances in Amsterdam, shows at Amsterdam Drag-o-lympics and Milkshake festival, before going on a ten year long hiatus.
In 2018 Popdorian made a brief return, writing the song Err on the side of love for Italo phenomenon Maxime Duvall. The song is available on a double a-side 12” single on the Bordello a Parigi label, alongside Raining in my heart.
2021 finally saw the Spotify-release of Popdorian’s first album Benefits. A new single in collaboration with Veering, Anything with a pulse, followed later that year.
In 2022 Popdorian released a new song Cold turkey and the instant Christmas classic Coming out for Christmas (featuring renowned trumpet player Louis Lanzing).
2023 will see the re-release of You break it, you own it, along with new material.
