My name is Jeremy Porter. I go by Porta Boy. I got my name from my father just an alteration of our last name. I'm from Walker, Louisiana but spend most of my time and live in Baton Rouge. My musical influences coming up were kind of an odd combination of Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross and JCole. I didn't too much listen to much hip hop coming up. I was more of a 90s RNB child. I feel like I take my team and I try to produce music with content or a story to tell. All of this is displayed in my debut project “See For Yourself.”
